Il gruppo Ferretti ha siglato un contratto finalizzato alla cessione del 100% di Apreamare alle famiglie Aprea e Pollio, fondatori dello storico marchio di yacht sorrentino.
La chiusura dell'operazione è prevista entro la fine del mese di marzo 2010. La cessione comprende il polo nautico di Torre Annunziata (Napoli), che si sviluppa su una superficie complessiva di oltre 125.000 mq, di cui 53.000 mq al coperto, e una darsena privata con 100 posti barca. "Grazie a questa operazione - spiega un comunicato - il Gruppo Ferretti prosegue nel Piano Strategico intrapreso in questi mesi che prevede la focalizzazione sul proprio core business". I cantieri Apreamare sono attivi dal 1849 nella produzione e costruzione artigianale dello storico gozzo sorrentino, reinterpretato in chiave moderna. Entrato a far parte del Gruppo Ferretti nel 2001, Apreamare oggi propone due gamme di imbarcazioni: la classica linea dei gozzi che va dai 28 ai 64 piedi ed una linea di yacht, Maestro, che va dai 51 agli 82 piedi. "Sono molto soddisfatto che, dopo anni di grande e proficua collaborazione, Apreamare torni nelle mani dei propri fondatori e, in particolare, degli amici Cataldo Aprea e Antonino Pollio", ha commentato Norberto Ferretti, presidente e fondatore del gruppo Ferretti. "La cessione di questo storico brand consentirà di focalizzarci ulteriormente sugli yacht di medie e grandi dimensioni e di rispondere al meglio alle richieste dei nostri clienti", ha aggiunto Salvatore Basile, Ad Ferretti. "Al gruppo Ferretti, e in particolare al presidente Norberto, va il mio più sincero ringraziamento per i nove anni di fattiva e reciproca collaborazione, che hanno consentito ad Apreamare di crescere e di affermarsi in nuovi e importanti mercati. I rapporti stretti sia personalmente che professionalmente di sicuro faranno nascere collaborazioni future che continueranno ad essere un importante esempio di sinergie per l'intera nautica internazionale", ha detto Cataldo Aprea, presidente di Apreamare Spa anche a nome degli altri soci Giovanni Aprea, Rita ed Antonino Pollio.

The Ferretti Group signed an agreement to sell 100% of Apreamare S.p.A. to the Aprea and Pollio families, the founders of the historical Sorrento brand. The deal is set to be closed by the end of March 2010.
The sale will include the nautical pole in Torre Annunziata (Naples), which boasts 125,000 m² of total floor space, including 53,000 m² of indoor space, and a private wet dock with about 100 mooring spaces.
This deal will allow the Ferretti Group to continue to pursue the Strategic Plan implemented in recent months with the aim of focusing on its core business.
The Apreamare shipyards have been operating since 1849 in the production and artisan building of the typical Gozzo Sorrentino, reinterpreted in a modern light. Part of the Ferretti Group since 2001, Apreamare’s current products range includes two lines of crafts: the classic line of Gozzo vessels ranging from 28 to 64 feet and the Maestro line of yachts featuring sophisticated, original designs and ranging from 51 to 82 feet.
